Latest figures from the HDSA's fiscal year 2000 show funding distributed as follows. The national audit, for fiscal 2001 which ended Sept. 30th, is not completed yet:
36% research 23% education 20% family services 11% chapter development 8 % management 2% fund raising
"Education" includes: publications, magazines and newsletters, annual convention, media outreach,national website, conferences, and national speakers bureau.
